We didn't start as an education company. We started because we were frustrated with how web design training was being taught—disconnected from real industry demands, outdated by the time you finished learning, and designed for passive absorption rather than active creation.
Back in 2018, our founders were freelance designers working with startups across California and Texas. We'd see talented people jump into bootcamps and online courses only to graduate without the practical skills needed for real client work. That gap frustrated us. So we decided to build something different—a learning environment that mirrors how actual design teams work, not how textbooks suggest teaching should happen.
We've grown because we stay connected to what employers actually want.
